There are two main types of the chocolate puddings popular among different nations. - Sugar - 100 g (fine grain)

- Vanilla - 1 teaspoon
- Cashew - 20 g (chopped for garnishing)
METHOD
- Step 1: Mix together cocoa powder, corn flour, sugar and salt in a dense cooking pan.
- Step 2: Pour 500 ml fresh milk little by little into the cooking pan and stir well to have a uniform mixture.
- Step 3: Keep the cooking pan on a stove top with medium heat and keep stirring until you see a thick mixture. This might take about 15 minutes.
- Step 4: Once the mixture turns into a thicker consistency (similar to custard texture) take the pan out from the heat, add butter and stir well.
- Step 5: Finally add vanilla and give it a good mix.
- Step 6: Pour the pudding custard into separate cups or a desired container and sprinkle the chopped cashew on the top.
- Step 7: Let the pudding cool down to room temperature and then keep inside the refrigerator for 3-4 hours before serving.
It can prepare 2 cups of chocolate pudding using the above recipe. If your requirement is different you can adjust the ingredient quantities accordingly. Also, you can change the sugar quantity as per your taste. For garnishing you can use sliced almond, raisin, strawberry, cherry, etc as you prefer. If you love white chocolate flavour, you can try using white chocolate instead of coca powder.
Make sure not to increase the stove heat as it can cause scorching of the milk and it will give a bitter taste to the pudding. Besides, keep stirring the mixture properly throughout the heating process.
